Prop Resources
- Helium balloon

Activities
- Give each child a small square of sky blue fabric or paper. Give them a “Jesus” figure and some cotton balls. Each child can hide Jesus behind a cloud.
- YouTube Ministry to Children ideas: 1) Raisins ascend in clear carbonated drink. Takes a few minutes. 2) Use a helium balloon and let it ascend.
- NOTES: Next time use a small empty water bottle and a funnel to add the carbonated water. Give each of the children some raisins so that they can add them to the carbonated water.

People were mean to Jesus and made fun of him before
he was crucified. They dressed him in a purple robe and put a crown
of thrones on his head. They called him THE KING OF THE JEWS.

The mean people put a crown made out of thorns like
this one on Jesus’ head. The thorns hurt his head. We looked at
this crown and talked about it. We wore our other crown though because we
didn’t want our heads to bleed!

- BIG nails to use with picture of Jesus on the cross to see where they were used. Discuss that Jesus didn't have any broken bones.

- Resurrection Eggs from FamilyLife.com These are expensive. You can make your own. Use your own resources to note events in the stories.
